Moderator Objectives:

The Following is a basic set of guidelines obtained from Madelyn and the BEZ
Association website. The original is used and reproduced with permission and
has been editted to better suit our needs.

Section 1: Status

One's "status" is one's standing or level of importance in society or an
organization.

Owner: The person(s) responsible for ensuring that all Moderators
that are appointed follow by this set of objectives and all it’s Articles, as
well as any other decrees given to any Moderator or Member properly without
violating any privilege.

Moderators/Administrator: Users responsible for upholding the regulations
and rulings present within the set of objectives itself. The Administrator
is generally a title given to the owner, however it will also be used to
identify Moderators in this document.

Members: Although technically the term "member" classifies every single
user that is associated with the Chat Box, in this form it is meant to
describe users that are not categorized under the previous divisions.

Section 2: Articles

Article 1 - Banning Policy

This Article gives the authorization to an Administrator to ban any member
from the Chat Box for performing any of the following acts so long as the
verdicts of the 3rd Article are recognized first.

1. Spamming: Posting unnecessarily, unreasonable or unwanted messages (namely
things that are not considered words or sentences) continually.

2. Discrimination: Showing complete disregard for respect of others by using
any form of profanity or other form of action, comment, ect. that may offend
another because of race, sex, religion, age group, or ethnic group.

3. Imitating Another: Attempting to imposter another user by using that
member’s account against their will or another account not authorized.
Unauthorized imitation of any kind will generally not be tolerated.

Article 2 - Freedom of Opinion
This Article ensures that no prohibition will be placed upon any member’s
opinion or view so long as it does not conflict with the regulations listed
in the 1st Article.

Article 3 - Notice of Violations

This Article grants any member that may violate any ruling or regulation
listed in any of the other Articles' consent to be informed of their
misconduct before any further action granted by other Articles regarding
the situation can be taken by an Administrator. If this notice given to the
violator by any member is not taken into consideration, further actions
listed in other Articles may be engaged.

Article 4 - Ratifying Articles

This Article grants the authorization of Moderators, through a majority
vote of all listed Moderators, to be capable of the addition or subtraction
of any Article and it’s verdicts (providing that the newly formed
altercations do not conflict with the verdict of the 6th Article). This
also includes the altering of verdicts listed within any Article as well.

Article 5 - Petition of Articles

This Article permits all members the ability to request altercations to
any of the Articles given in the Constitution. This also includes the
addition or subtraction of any Article and its verdicts. If the request
provided is agreed upon by a majority vote of the frequent visitors of the
Chat Box, the petition’s attributes will immediately take effect and all
altercations will be met (providing that the newly formed altercations do
not conflict with the verdict of the 6th Article). The verdicts listed in
the 4th Article that grant Moderators the authority to ratify Articles
do not apply for any petitioned Article set into place by regulations
provided in this Article.

Article 6 - Reasonable Law

This Article prohibits the requisition or altercation of any Article
that is not deemed reasonable or justified in the opinion of the Owner.

Article 7 - Sanctioned Time Span

This Article regulates that any member banned from the Chat Box under the
verdicts of the 1st Article (after regarding the verdict of the 3rd
Article) will remain banned for a time frame of up to and including
1 week and will be admitted back to the Chat Box only after this particular
time span has expired.

Article 8 - Evidence and Justification of Reason

This Article forces any Moderator to provide perceptible confirmation to
any member of any other member violating verdicts listed in the 1st
Article.

Article 9 - Positioned Violations

This Article states that any Moderator is capable of being removed of his
or her status as an Administrator for violating any regulation listed in the
1st Article (providing that the verdicts of the 3rd Article are regarded
first). This Article also verifies that a Moderator who unrightfully bans
another member from the Chat Box for reasons not verified in any Article
may also be subject to forfeiture of his/her Administrative position, pending
group decision.

Article 10 - Appointing Moderators

This Article grants the authorization of Moderators, through a majority
vote of all listed Moderators, and a nomination of the Owner, to appoint
any member the status of Moderator for the Chat Box. In the case of a tie,
the user may be granted a 24 hour trial period as a Moderator (at the existing
Moderators' and Owner's consent), and given the trial Moderator follows all
rulings listed herein, a second vote may ensue the following day.

Article 11 - Administrative Rights

This Article ensures that no member listed under Moderator status can be
removed of their position unless that Moderator violates regulations listed
within the 9th Article.

Article 12 - Non-Enumerated Rights

This Article confirms that no member can be held accountable for violating
any deemed verdict or restriction not listed in any other Article.
